Electrolux needed to update their Activity area in Elgiganten/Elkjøp stores in the Nordics with two different Electrolux products: a cordless vacuum cleaner and an air purifier. Their assignment to us was to dress an existing POS unit with communication that could fulfil three objectives; stick out and attract attention on the shop floor, display and hero the two products and of course convey the unique product benefits of the two products clearly.
Our solution gave the two products one unique face each on the POS unit in which to meet the consumer. These faces featured the unique product benefits for the respective products clearly both on the unit itself and in one smaller freestanding unit. This was complemented with images that showed the products in a home environment to make it easier for the customers to place the products in their own home mentally, all to lower the threshold for considering them and a potential purchase.
